  • Description
Crepe rubber is most commonly known as being the sole unit for the iconic Clarks Desert Boot, which was originally released in 1949.
How sustainable is crepe rubber? Tapping rubber does not harm trees. In fact, a single tree can be tapped regularly for up to 40 years, and produce up to 8.6kg of latex rubber every year.
Our crepe rubber sheets are cut into heel shaped pieces. Our crepe rubber pieces are usually used as a cleaning tool in the production of footwear. Crepe will not damage the leather of the shoe when cleaning during the manufacturing process, meaning these small pieces are ideal for removing such things as excess adhesive.
