Applying pressure on the handle,the threaded groove on the connecting rod will rotate anti clockwise so the punch is rotated to cut the round hole in to the leather.

 1. Remove the top screw of the connecting rod, insert the required punch, and tighten the screw to fix the punch in place.

 2. Position the punch on to your leather, so the punch is perpendicular to the leather surface at 90 degrees. The hole can be punched by pressing the handle at your required position (if the leather is thicker, it may need to be repeated several times).
